in our move towards all things digital, some people are concerned we are losing typewriters, i am worried we’re losing HANDWRITING, beautiful, intricate, personality-driven handwriting.
i feel like the only time people worry about/consider calligraphy anymore is when they’re searching for someone to do the envelopes for their wedding invitations.

Read the accompanying article as well. Would love to see a documentary produced on the men who were tasked with the job to document the hundreds of tests we rain on atomic bombs (the article explains that many of them have subsequently died of cancer as you can imagine).
