beautiful video that goes behind the creation of ai weiwei’s turbine hall installation — meeting the artisans who carefully painted each porcelain sunflower seed (3 strokes a side for skilled ones, 4 to 5 for slightly less skilled) and how the process of creating the work provided incomes for people on the brink of bankruptcy.
