I saw Rhythm Is It when I was interning @ the ICA in London. Royston Maldoon, the choreographer and teacher, spoke after the screening and it further impressed upon me the necessity of arts in the lives of children and the livelihood of a community.

This project was recently recreated during the Berlin in Lights Festival in New York. I haven’t seen any footage of the more recent productions - but I am hoping that it creates a model, just as the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela for arts education in America.
