I’m just 5 minutes in and already know that this speech will take on the same role that MLK jr’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail”. I dream of the next generation analyzing this speech and contextualizing it within the history of today and the story of the man who is Barack Obama.
Although times are different, I think that the opportunity to change, to engage the tension of race in American politics and America at large….. the time to hear this and do something about it is now.
