This is a great move by the Home Office (UK) to encourage and facilitate international talent to perform in the UK. Difficult and bureaucratic means of procuring visas for short visits often cause undue stress (both financial & emotional) on presenting organizations - therefore discouraging them from tapping into the international scene of any given art. This is a great first step in ensuring that curators of all sorts can pull international resources to present really timely, thrilling, and impactful works of art to the UK audience.

Now… if only America could start to think like this…
