I suppose this is “breaking news” on some level - after months and months of discussion regarding the empty fourt plinth in Trafalgar Square, it’s been revealed that it’s on hold for the Queen.

Both Ken Livingstone and current London Mayor Boris Johnson have been a bit vague about the future of the plinth…

Anyway, as the Queen is still very much alive and well - we should be able to continue to enjoy temporary contemporary works on the site…
