"The man with the Midas touch" Louise Jury, in the Evening Standard

I didn’t get the chance to see a performance at the Donmar while I was living in London - but I did visit the playhouse once and I regretted not taking the time to attend a show there.

Big plans in the work for their upcoming season - big names (Branaugh, Law, DENCH) are making headlines for the Warehouse….  and the artistic director & theater have been the very very wise (but scary) decision to keep ticket prices between £10 and £32.50. (This means they’ll have to sell 80% of their tickets every night to break even).

Definitely a dangerous business move - but the right one for advancing theatre.
