Amazing interview over at Design Files with Nicholas Jones, the artist behind the beautiful book art pictured in the above image. This is my first exposure to his work and I think there is something that is sparked in my reaction dealing with (a) the precision & detail of the work (b) the slight feeling of his doing something with a book that it wasn’t intended for —- instead of reading it, making it into sculpture — removing it’s use (c) it’s just beautiful.
