Broad Decides to Build His Own Museum (NYT)
Not too many months after the Broad Wing of LACMA opened, it sounds like Eli Broad will be building his own museum not too far from LACMA. I think depsite all of the controversy and gossip surrounding Broad’s relationship to LACMA and the control of his collection - the biggest benefit will be to LA residents and tourists who will gain even more access to he and his wife’s fanatastic collection given more exhibition space.
