"THE Prince of Wales has been criticised by some of the world’s leading architects for “using his privileged position” to intervene in the design of a controversial luxury development in one of the most attractive parts of London."

Would love to read the letter - but alas, cannot find it online.

Anyone have a link?

In addition, I have no problem with Prince Charles advocating for neo-Classical design, but it sounds as if he’s acting as a one-person urban planning board for London.

Interestingly, at least two of the architects listed as signing the letter do not have any permanent buildings in London (Hadid, Gehry) - they’ve only been shown at the Serpentine Gallery as part of the Pavillion series.
